About Dick Killam
A native of Kings County and elected Councillor of District 3 for 10 years and serving on a range of municipal committees and boards,
Dick Killam was born in Nova Scotia's beautiful Annapolis Valley and resides in Hall's Harbour, on the shore of the Bay of Fundy. Much of his creative energy comes from the Marine environment that surrounds him. The World’s highest and powerful tides of the Fundy region, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, ever-changing light, ocean air and most of all the tranquility combines into a masterpiece of nature unequalled anywhere on our planet.

- 10 years as tractor-trailer operator affording deeper insight into the life-struggles faced by our citizens
- 40 years as prominent local photographer - "With more than 40 years of photographic experience Dick continues to produce scenic images which capture the heart and soul of Maritime beauty. His passion for his work is driven by the fear that someday if we don't take care of our planet much of this beauty could disappear. He feels strongly that with each beautiful image he produces one can sense the importance of the intimate and delicate relationship between nature and humanity. He asks that we never should take these wonders for granted. His images are displayed in homes and businesses throughout the Atlantic Provinces/Canada and have been distributed in over 27 different Countries. "
